Many people take supplements to make up for the nutrients that they do not get in their diet. However, it is usually best to try to eat a well-balanced diet.It is also important to note that the body is made up of anywhere from 65-70 percent water. For that reason, water should be the beverage that people consume the most of. Experts recommend drinking 8-10 cups of water throughout the day. Water helps keep the body hydrated and it also helps with weight management by promoting a feeling of fullness.The body was designed to move and one of the reasons that many people today suffer from poor health is because they do not move enough. Regular exercise keeps the heart strong and helps prevent many serious illnesses. Experts recommend getting at least 150 minutes of moderate activity each week. Walking, cleaning the house and playing with the kids are simple activities that can help keep a person healthy.Good health is everything and fortunately people can maintain their good health by staying sober, eating right and exercising.
